Blue Coat IntelligenceCenter provides powerful application performance monitoring for PacketShaper appliances deployed across your entire system. By collecting, correlating and reporting on business critical applications, IntelligenceCenter empowers IT organizations to:

Comprehensive Application Reporting
Blue Coat IntelligenceCenter incorporates over 30 standard reports with multiple levels of drill-down details.

Reports can be produced on-demand in multiple formats or scheduled for email delivery. An archive of each report is automatically generated for later retrieval.

Branch Office Reporting
WAN links can be monitored from a central location, such as a data center, and analyzed independently. Performance reports are available on a per-WAN link basis.

 

 

Live Dashboard
IntelligenceCenter provides a flexible personal dashboard for real-time information to quickly isolate and repair problems. A number of live dashboards are available to:

• Provide application SLA performance.
• Show server application anomalies.
• Provide applications of interest for diagnosing performance problems.

Flexible Network Topology
Network devices can be organized in a hierarchical topology. In addition, ad-hoc slices of devices, such as “All Sales Offices,” can be defined, allowing data to be viewed in a way most meaningful to the viewer.

Easy Device Management
Import PacketShaper devices from an existing PolicyCenter instance, or add them manually. In addition to flow detail records, you can access individual PacketShapers for more detailed analysis.

IntelligenceCenter also allows you to remotely manage PacketShaper configurations with the ability to backup and restore PacketShaper configurations.

Flexible Plug-in Architecture
If the report or dashboard you need is not available, IntelligenceCenter provides the ability to write and install plug-in reports and dashboard elements. The plug-in architecture provides access to all data stored in IntelligenceCenter – right down to individual flow records.

Architecture

IntelligenceCenter is comprised of two elements – the main application and a data collector. For scalability, the data collector can be housed on a separate server. Smaller sites (less than 50,000 flows per minute) can house both portions on the same server. Only one data collector is allowed.
